At Technoorg Linda, we believe in our responsibility to support and nurture the next generation of scientists worldwide. This commitment led us to organize a Knowledge Day in our offices, aiming to enrich the chemistry and physics knowledge of participants through a private tour and presentation about ion milling and the nanoscale world, led by application specialists Márton Iritz and Weronika Serafimovic.

The program started with a brief presentation outlining our technology and the diverse applications of our devices. Participants gained insights into fields requiring specimen preparation, the uses of ion beams in sample cleaning and thinning, and the distinctions between physical and chemical polishing. During the visit, they could examine the different types of ion guns used in our instruments, allowing us to unveil information at an atomic level.

Guided by our application team, students explored the floors of our headquarters, witnessing our workshops and production up close. The tour concluded with an exciting science experiment led by our chemical and bioengineers, Zoltán Herceg and Nándor Majercsik, involving freezing, breaking, and evaporating various materials in liquid nitrogen.

We believe that by providing these hands-on experiences, we inspire curiosity and passion for science, encouraging youngsters to pursue careers in research and innovation.
