20th International Microscopy Congress

About 3,000 microscope industry experts and researchers from over 50 countries attended and discussed scientific innovation and convergence through the microscope platform. Technoorg Linda was one of the exhibitors at the prestigious IMC20, which was held in Busan, Korea this year. We are delighted to be part of such a rapidly growing field with interdisciplinarity at its core.

New Additions to Our Product Range

Following our tradition from previous IMCs, Technoorg Linda showcased its latest innovations for both SEM and TEM users. We introduced our brand new LEGtoSEM to the public for the first time, a valuable addition to our product portfolio, particularly appreciated by dual-beam SEM users. The LEGtoSEM features a powerful yet gentle low-energy ion source that can be retractably attached for in situ sample cleaning of FIB lamellae. The 100 eV – 2 keV milling range remains a unique solution for those pushing the boundaries of materials science. With LEGtoSEM, researchers can now clean their lamellae after preparation and eliminate gallium implantation from their samples.

Another new product we presented was the second generation of our Sample Alignment Station (SAS). When combined with SEMPrep2, the SAS completes the seamless workflow for creating micron-precision slope-cuts on all SEM samples, regardless of sample thickness. Now anyone can be trained to align samples for cross-sectional analysis within an hour and obtain results worthy of publication.

Raffle Winners

Our products garnered significant attention at our largest booth ever in the history of IMCs. Technoorg Linda even took the spotlight for a brief moment with our raffle, where, among many other valuable gifts, a latest generation iPad was awarded to a lucky winner. We thank all of you for participating, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

After a one-year delay due to the aftermath of COVID, we were thrilled to reconnect with our closest business partners and meet new experts in the field face-to-face. Technoorg Linda has always been a promoter of close scientific collaboration between industry and academia. We look forward to continuing this tradition with both our existing and future partners.
