Research activities:

Transmission electron microscopy of wide bandgap semiconductors like SiC, GaN and diamond. Preparation and characterization of contacts to semiconducting materials. Investigation of defects in crystalline materials, determination of epitaxial orientations. Study of ion-solid interaction in order to minimize the damage of TEM samples. Synthesis of new phase by ion implantation at elevated temperatures.
